Thanks for stopping by Bobseyeview.com and for coming to my blog. Would you like something to eat? Seriously, the first recorded "straw pole" in the U.S. took place in 1824. During the early part of the 20th century, market research firms were born. They were designed to help manufacturers make and market products of mass appeal. George Gallup founded the American Institute of Public Opinion in 1936.
Now, polls are everywhere. Any day now, I expect there to be a 24-hour cable television channel devoted only to polls. I firmly believe polls are evil! I intend to have a plethora of polls to show how ridiculous they are and how we have been conditioned to lead our lives according to the polls.
Our first poll is about indifference. I asked 50 retired jockeys what their opnion is of indifference.
23 said they couldn't care less.
11 said they could care less.
7 said they were not sure
9 said they had no opinion
This poll has a margin of error so high you wouldn't believe me if I told you.
I intend to start blogging on a regular basis beginning on Monday, April 14th. Please stop by again. Thanks for visiting.
