SCARY STUFF
The black mamba is the fastest snake in the world, reaching speeds as fast as ten to twelve miles per hour (that's faster than most AMTRAK trains). It is also one of the deadliest snakes in the world. Just two drops of venom can kill you.
Now here is where the scary stuff gets even scarier. Check out the similarities between the black mamba and the white Dick Cheney.
They are both nervous creatures and often will not let a human (and in Cheney's case especially a democrat) approach within seventy-five feet.
They both anger easily and if annoyed will raise their head and front body as much as four to six feet off the ground.
They both shake their head from side to side while giving out a long and very frightening hiss, with Cheney saying, "I don't have to tell the American people a damned thing. I don't work for the American people."
In my mind, the only thing more frightening than accidentally stepping on a black mamba would be to hear someone breaking into my house in the middle of the night, reaching for my flashlight in the pitch-black room, and staring straight at me, only inches away, is the flickering face of Dick Cheney.
