I have returned to the land called Florida. I hope you are all well.
I recently read that the definition of an optimist is...An accordian player with a pager.
Speaking of Mr. Potato Head, I learned that he was the very first toy to be advertised on national television in the U.S.
I returned to Florida on AMTRAK. While on board, I asked 52 people with dentures the following question:
Who said, "A life unexamined is a life not worth living."
12 percent said Socrates
39 percent said Paris Hilton
38 percent said Britney Spears
11 percent had no opinion
The correct answer is, of course, Paris Hilton.
Tomorrow, I plan on driving past the new stadium, the Pepto-Bismol Anti-Diarrhea Dome. I'll report back tomorrow.
