Bobs Eye View

Bobs Eye View will return on Saturday morning, May 31st.  In the meantime, you can check on the list below of cultural events happening around the state of Florida.

See You Saturday.

Bobs Eye View

MAMMA MIA

There is no truth to the rumor that the Broadway musical Mamma Mia, soon to be a movie, was originally going to be called Mamma Mia, Maya, Mea.  (See yesterday's blog.)

KUDOS

Here at B E V headquarters we follow space flight very closely.  We want to extend our congratulations to the people of NASA, who safely delivered the Phoenix Mars Lander to the surface of Mars.  As I am sure most of us remember from our science classes back in high school (unless we went to school in Kansas), Mars is 17 quadrillion miles from Earth.  (See blog entry of Monday, May 26th.)

POLL POLL

B E V's polling firm of Gallop, Canter and Trot, in conjunction with USA Today, CNN, AFLCIO, ABC, CBS, & MSNBC, has taken a poll of pollsters regarding their opinion about polls.  We questioned three pollsters, and here are the surprising results:

Although off-the-record admitting that their industry is totally unnecessary, 100 percent of the pollsters questioned said for the record that they believe that polls should continue, mainly so that they would not find themselves out of work.

This poll has a margin of error higher than I am at the moment.

THE BEST SELLING BOOK OF ALL TIME

Am I talking about "Diary of a Doll Wiggler?"  Perhaps some day, but not yet.  I am talking about the Bible.  Next week I will be making an announcement of biblical proportions.  I'm sorry, but for legal reasons I can't tell you anything else yet.  All I can say is that if you are interested in the Bible, have ever stayed in a hotel or motel room with a Bible, or have ever seen the movie, "The Ten Commandments," you won't want to miss my announcement.

See You Tomorrow.
