In yesterday's blog, I said that poll dancers at the local strip club were polled. "Poll" dancers is spelled inkorrectly. That should have read "pole" dancers, as the definition of a pole is..."a long, slender, rounded piece of..." is it warm in here or is it just me? In all probability, I will be conducting many future polls with the pole dancers at Club Ba Da Bing.
The other day, television pundits were unanimously reporting that Barack Obama has a problem attracting white women to vote for him, particularly uneducated white women, especially after Hillary Clinton soundly beat him in West Virginia and more recently in Kentucky.
Late last night I returned to the "Bing" to conduct another poll among the pole dancers. I made sure to bring lots of single dollar bills. I was curious how Barack Obama would do in a head-to-head match-up against three fictitious white women from legendary television shows; Mary Richards (Mary Tyler Moore) of the Mary Tyler Moore Show, Margaret "Hot Lips" Houlihan (Loretta Swit) of M.A.S.H. & Diane Chambers (Shelly Long) of Cheers.
After several hours of lap dances, (as I am doing research on lap dances for a future blog), we got down to business.
I polled only the white pole dancers. I asked seventeen unbelievably leggy, amazingly curvaceous, stunningly sexy... what was I saying? That's right - I asked them would they vote for Obama or 1)Margaret Houlihan, 2)Diane Chambers or 3)Mary Richards.
In a blow-out, Obama would whip "Hot Lips" Houlihan - 59 percent to 31 percent
Obama would flatten Diane Chambers - 62 percent to 29 percent
Obama, however, would find it hard beating Mary Richards - 49 percent to 46 percent
In a 3-way with luscious "Hot Lips" and sexy Diane, Obama would win hands down - 63 percent
to 32 percent.
I need to towel off.
